How long does it take to get set up?
Most shops are live in under 48 hours. Day 1 is a 30-minute onboarding call — we learn your services, pricing zones, and booking preferences. Day 2 your number is live and your calendar is synced. Booking jobs that same afternoon is the norm.
Does it actually sound human?

Do I need to use my existing phone number?
No. You have two options: port your existing business number to Calling Matrix (1–3 business days, nothing changes for your customers), or we provision a fresh local number for you. Whichever fits your setup, we handle it.

Can it handle after-hours emergencies?
Yes. You define what counts as an emergency — burst pipe, no heat, electrical hazard. Emergencies route straight to your on-call tech. Non-urgent calls get booked for next-available. No more sleeping through your phone or passing everything to an answering service that reads a script.

What happens if the AI can't answer something?

How does the After Hours plan work?
You set your business hours — say, 8 am to 6 pm — and Calling Matrix only activates outside those times. Any call after 6 pm, on weekends, or on holidays is answered immediately, your custom questions are asked, appointments are booked straight into your calendar, and leads are uploaded into your CRM. You wake up to a summary of everything captured overnight. No missed calls, no voicemails, no morning backlog. If you grow and want full 24/7 coverage, upgrading to Starter takes one call.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Month-to-month on every plan. No long-term contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel anytime with 30 days notice.
What does the setup fee cover?
The setup fee covers your entire onboarding: custom AI training on your services and pricing, number porting or provisioning, calendar sync, CRM integration, and a 30-day check-in call to fine-tune call handling. This is a done-for-you build, not a DIY template. Setup fees are tiered by plan: After Hours $297 · Starter $497 · Growth $997 · Scale custom — and are fully waived on annual billing.
Yes. You can upgrade from After Hours to Starter, or from Starter to Growth, at any time. Upgrades take effect on your next billing cycle. No re-onboarding required — your AI configuration carries over.
